Core Business: The core business of MIGAS is the employment and training of apprentices and trainees in the engineering and manufacturing fields. Going hand in hand with this is the ongoing promotion and education of school leavers, teachers, parents, friends and family about the career paths available after completing an apprenticeship or traineeship.
Services Provided: We help host employers and prospective host employers decide on the correct methodology on employing new apprentices and trainees using our services. This advice ranges from selection of a suitable person through to development of a training plan as well as HR and IR assistance. We carry out the complete employment process from advertising a position, short listing, reference checking, referral, induction, performance monitoring, TAFE bookings, HR, IR, wages, super, annual leave, sick leave and government paperwork.

For prospective apprentices and trainees we provide career counselling, mock interviews and advice to a wide audience of stakeholders on engineering career paths.
